RFE for Node Copy

There's a great feature in Inkscape that allows an artist to copy just the styles from one path to another. By copying a path, and then selecting another path and pressing Shift+Ctrl+V you can paste just the stroke and fill of the previous path to this one, without changing its shape at all.

Wouldn't it be great to copy the handles from one node to another in kind of the same way? Here's what I'm thinking:

  1. Draw a path...

  2. That's not quite right. Lets align, space and tweak some nodes...

  3. Better, but no matter what I do, I can't get each wave to look exactly like the others because I can't get the node handles in precisely the right spot -- unless I could copy and past the node handles from one node to the next. With the Node Tool selected, select a node and press Ctrl+C...

  4. Then, with the Node tool, select the target node and paste the position of just the handles with Shift+Ctrl+V...

  5. Repeat with the third wave crest then work through the bottom four nodes.

Attached is this illustrated Request for Enhancement for copying the node handles from one node to another.
